I think it's worth keeping an eye open to see whether he changes his mind as the fashion weeks become more established/recognised. It is the premier fashion-trade event in the country, hosted by India's only (apex) fashion body. The event provides designers, both new and established, with a platform to showcase their creativity to the world. Its got a plethora of international as well as domestic buyers, media, fashionistas and other key stakeholders. Maybe Ravi Bajaj is content with what he gets from his domestic buyers... but how come mega designers like Tarun Tahiliani, Rohit Bal, Ritu Kumar, JJ Valaya (the list goes on) choose to participate in this event?
