I have to agree that I find it strange that Ravi Bajaj doesn't feel the need to participate in one or the other fashion week. I think it's worth keeping an eye open to see whether he changes his mind as the fashion weeks become more established/recognised.

I find it strange that ANY designer would not want to be part of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. It is the premier fashion-trade event in the country, hosted by India's only (apex) fashion body. The event provides designers, both new and established, with a platform to showcase their creativity to the world. Its got a plethora of international as well as domestic buyers, media, fashionistas and other key stakeholders. Maybe Ravi Bajaj is content with what he gets from his domestic buyers... but how come mega designers like Tarun Tahiliani, Rohit Bal, Ritu Kumar, JJ Valaya (the list goes on) choose to participate in this event? It is obvious, that to succeed and be recognised, a designer has to be part of this event.
